How to make sure secure connection on internet?

Why there is no reset bottom on CCD IP Cameras?

How do you know when somebody is logged in to any one of the cameras. Is there some indication that you are being watched?

Can anybody having a copy of the software possibly view any of the cameras without knowing the password?

Is there any back door way of viewing the cameras? In other words, manufacturer may be able to look in.

Will there be a version especially the IR that will have WiFI capability?

When the camera is on line but the software is not running, is it using any internet resources (upload/download)?
